Welcome to Eldon Insurance Services We provide motor claims management services on behalf of Southern Rock Insurance Company Ltd. Our dedicated team of professionals, based in Newcastle upon Tyne, are trained to assist and advise you whenever you need to make a claim against your policy.

To aid us in helping you, it is very important that you report any claim you wish to make as soon as possible.  When you do call us, or complete our online claim notification form, please have your current Certificate of Motor Insurance and the details of the incident ready.

Once we know about your claim, our operators will work on your behalf every step of the way to minimise any inconvenience to you.  Through the use of our extensive approved repairer network (and with the correct applicable cover) we can ensure a fast and efficient repair for your vehicle.

You can use an alternative repairer if you wish but please remember that we must agree all estimates being provided by unapproved repairers before work starts.
Please do not book your vehicle in for repair prior to Eldon approving the estimate.

Remember to check your policy for all applicable excesses that you will be required to pay and don't forget to keep any related receipts and letters for future reference.

Please be careful to follow our recommendations so that we can manage your claim in the most effective way.

If you find yourself in an accident:
  • Stop!  By law you must do this after any accident.
  • Check to see if anyone is hurt and, if necessary, call an Ambulance.
  • If there has been an injury, you must tell the Police and get an Incident Number from them.
  • You should not move the vehicles until an independent witness (if one is available) has noted their positions AND it is considered safe to do so.
  • Where witnesses are available, make a note of their names, addresses and registration numbers.
  • Even if you feel you ARE at fault do NOT admit liability at the scene, as we will take care of this for you.
You will need to exchange details with those involved, including:
  • Name, address and phone number.
  • Vehicle make and model.
  • Registration number.
  • Insurance company.
  • Policy number.
If possible, write down details of what happened during the accident and draw a sketch of vehicle positions, where you are etc. If you have a camera, take photos.

If your car cannot be driven, we will look to arrange for it to be taken to the nearest suitable repairer via our 24 hour accident recovery service.
